Due to multiple acquisitions, our client, a major network services company, needed to aggregate and report financial and shipping data stored in multiple enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, as well as business processes and data structures. To address these problems, our team had to define standard operating processes, perform data normalization, and deduplication. We also had to make sure the system integration supported different vendors and versions of the ERPs.

Our team developed the application with N Tier architecture running on a high availability SQL Server Cluster database. SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) were used to integrate systems to the data warehouse. This also served as a central repository for transformation maps. The solution included process logging and error reporting.  SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) were used to build report templates with an integration into a custom portal to manage user access and requests.
