Mike McClaine, president of the global management consulting and technology firm Aspirant, was announced by the Pittsburgh Technology Council (PTC) as a CEO of the Year finalist. This honor is part of the PTC’s Tech 50 Awards, which will occur on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 4-6 p.m.
The PTC’s Tech 50 Awards honor technology innovation in the Pittsburgh region and this year’s event theme is “Redefine. Recharge.”. At this year’s virtual event, PTC will showcase finalist companies in nine categories and all CEO finalists, before announcing category winners for each.
“The Tech 50 Awards honor is well deserved, both from a personal leadership perspective but also Mike’s merging of Aspirant’s innovative model, which is challenging traditional approaches to Consulting, with leading-edge and A.I.-based technology,” said Aspirant Vice President and Marketing and Innovation Director, Michele Petruccelli. “I’m honored to work at Aspirant under his amazing leadership and with our fantastic team.”
“Each year, the PTC canvasses the region for the most distinguished public and private technology-oriented companies, and the Tech 50 awards honor those companies that demonstrated the strongest growth and advancement in product or sales success, corporate citizenship, job growth and retention, industry achievement and innovative product or technology,” said PTC President and CEO Audrey Russo. “This is the biggest night in Pittsburgh’s tech industry. It is truly a night to honor our region’s technology companies and the contributions they have made to our economic vitality.”
