Aspirant, a Pittsburgh-based global management and technology consulting firm, announced the hiring of Rob Kovacevic as a Senior Manager in its Technology Practice and as a member of the Aspirant leadership team. Kovacevic brings with him proven success in Information Technology leadership and execution in consulting and corporate roles, with a strategic focus on applying technology to solve business problems, improve processes, and add business value.“Rob is a terrific addition to Aspirant as he brings a wealth of experience in senior IT consulting and industry roles. He specifically has tremendous expertise in Business Intelligence, an area which is in high demand in the marketplace,” said Aspirant President Mike McClaine. “Given Business Intelligence’s ever-increasing importance, we believe that continuing to grow our BI practice is a terrific way to serve our clients at the highest level.”
Prior to joining Aspirant, Kovacevic served at BNY Mellon as Group Manager, Financial Data Management. While at BNY, he led a team of application managers, developers, and business analysts to support and enhance an application that processed and reconciled financial data for general ledger posting, as well as a finance data warehouse that provided instrument-level detail to financial analysts.
“Business Intelligence sits in the intersection between business and technology. This is one of the reasons joining the Aspirant team was so attractive to me: the opportunity to work with experienced consultants across business areas and with talented technical resources,” said Kovacevic. “Aspirant’s combination of business and technology capability positions us to apply Business Intelligence solutions to serve our clients who are working to improve business operations, as well as our clients who are looking to improve their technology offerings.”
Kovacevic was previously at IBM as a Business Value Consultant, and EQT as a Sr. Manager, IT, and held consulting roles in Business Intelligence and application development prior to that. During his career, he has gained experience across business functional areas, including finance, operations, sales, purchasing, costing, customer relationship management, work orders, and service desk operations, as well as industry-specific areas, including financial, energy, retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, travel and transportation, and healthcare. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Penn State.
