The 2018 Pittsburgh Smart 50 Awards recognize executives at companies in the region for their ability to “effectively build and lead successful organizations”.
Mike McClaine, president of the Pittsburgh-based global management consulting and technology firm Aspirant, was announced as one of the Smart 50 by Smart Business magazine, which recognizes the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the region for their ability to “effectively build and lead successful organizations.”
The winners will be honored at an event on November 29, 2018, and three organizations will also receive special awards for their achievements in three category areas — innovation, impact, and sustainability. These awards were determined via the Smart 50 Awards “Judging Day” on October 17, where the winners presented to a judging panel about their leadership as it relates to their organization in the three categories. Additionally, all guests will be treated to a keynote address on what it takes to lead a successful “smart” company.
The Pittsburgh Smart 50 Awards are occurring at The Fairmont Pittsburgh from 5-8:30 p.m. The Smart 50 Awards currently take place in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Columbus.
Aspirant has recently also been honored by the Pittsburgh Business Times as a Corporate Citizenship Award Winner as well as the Pittsburgh Technology Council as one of its Tech 50 nominees.
